BLUE
HILL BLUE HILL provides a design suitable for a wide number of uses; day cruiser, weekender, sport fishing, or utility. Her hull form is based on a very successful 20 footer and ensures excellent rough water ability at both low and high speeds. The double ended hull form is particularly desirable for running breaking inlets or fishing where surf and seas pose problems to the normal wide transom boat.
Construction is of fir or cedar strip planking for simplicity of building and may be FRP covered for reduced maintenance and added strength if desired. Framing is on bulkheads and the keel is laminated to simplify construction and provide extra longitudinal strength. The interior provides 2 lower and 2 upper berths in the cabin with a toilet space forward and a handy galley space aft. There is standing headroom in the cabin with an inside helm. There is also An outside steering station for those happy days when you are out there trolling for the big ones. An alternate interior with a longer cabin, larger galley and enclosed head was designed for a lady who had her boat built at Covey Island Boat works in Nova Scotia, Canada. Both plans are included in the package. Power is a single gas or diesel engine to 200 hp to provide speeds of 20 knots or better.
A vee drive keeps the engine aft and the noise level low in the cabin.
BLUE HILL is definitely an all weather motor boat that will take you where you want to go, and bring you back in comfort and safety.
